STAGING THE 2016 WORLD CANCER CONGRESS IN PARIS
Last week, 5 talents from Dorier Geneva took up temporary residence in Paris to deliver the 2016 World Cancer Congress, that was held at the Palais des Congrès.
Award winning conference taking place every two years, the WCC is acknowledged by the global cancer community as the leading international event in cancer implementation science. This 2016 edition was opened by the French President François Hollande and Her Majesty Queen Letizia of Spain and was followed by 3 days of opportunities for the 3000 delegates to learn, network, discuss and exchange best practices in global cancer control around the theme “Mobilising action – Inspiring Change”.
Since 2008, Dorier designs, develops and oversees the full technical management of the WCC (plenary & sessions) by providing stage design, panoramic projection, lighting, audio, digital signage, video production, live multicam, speakers presentation management, simultaneous interpretation and audience response system. Since 2012, Dorier is also in charge of the technical management of their annual World Leader’s Summit. This year was no exception.
Over the years, we have developed a strong and trustful partnership with the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) and we are proud to share the rewarding note received from our client: “Olivier, a huge thank you for your amazing help, your constant support, your professionalism and for guiding us, just like your own team, throughout every single event. We received many excellent feedbacks about the Congress and we are super happy.” – Jessica Mathieu, Head of Congress & Events, Union for International Cancer Control (UICC).
