Audiovisual Technician

Geneva, Switzerland / Full time position

We’re looking for a proactive Audiovisual Technician to join our team in Geneva.
The Audiovisual Technician is customer focused and technology-oriented as he/she provides services for a high quality technology experience to events guests and clients. What you’ll do

• Operate AV equipment in a live show setting
• Maintain equipment, equipment areas, spare parts, and spare part areas. Manage the stock and be able to inform the responsible party when new material is needed
• Introduce to new users the correct usage of equipment, be responsive when needed
• Be able to recommend the best tools to carry out seamless events
• Supervise new installations
• Ensure audiovisual equipment setup and test before events
• Train new users when required

The profile we’re looking for

• You possess a diploma in AV technics and first hand current experience in the events industry
• You have a proactive, customer service oriented and a positive attitude
• You are dynamic, autonomous and rigorous
• You speak fluent English and French
• You manage well stress and you can handle several projects at the same time
• You have the ability to work varied and changing schedule (nights, weekends, early mornings included)
• You possess a valid driver’s license

Technical Production Manager

Geneva, Switzerland / Full time position

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Production Manager with a strong technical understanding to join our team in Geneva.
A core member of the Production team reporting directly to the Production Director and Dorier Group Senior Management, the Technical Production Manager has a strong creative vision and an excellent understanding of event logistics and planning. Based on clients’ objectives and expected outcomes, he/she will be responsible for the management of corporate and institutional events, from concept to completion, ensuring every aspect of production is done with excellence.

What you’ll do

• Produce high quality proposals and deliver events from initial brief through to final reconciliation
• Act as project manager developing, planning and delivering a wide range of events
• Present Dorier to potential new clients in order to generate new business
• Manage budgets, control costs and produce financial reports
• Contract third party suppliers, negotiate prices and ensure quality of delivery
• Manage Health & Safety documentation, financial reports, event briefs & other associated administrative documents for the department
• Keep detailed project files
• Provide leadership and support to the technical and production teams whilst maintaining motivation and enthusiasm in order to deliver successful projects
• On-site event management for large scale projects to ensure plans are followed and to maintain strong partner and client relationships

The profile we’re looking for

• You possess a minimum of 8 years experience in the Meeting & Event industry, with a proven track record of management (including team management) and delivery of large scale projects
• You have a deep understanding of audiovisual solutions (sound, lighting, rigging, set building, broadcasting, multiplex systems, and webcasting) and are always looking out for new ideas about innovative and impactful ways to bring people together through live experiences
• You have a strong expertise in planning, developing and delivering technical solutions in the private sector, internationally
• You demonstrate strong negotiation, organizational, problem-solving and leadership skills. You have an eye for detail and are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
• You have the ability to adapt to changing work environments across continents, the flexibility to work adaptable schedules (including days, evenings, and weekends) and are prepared to travel and work abroad
• You must be capable of managing multiple projects in an efficient manner while meeting tight deadlines and be able to remain calm and cool-headed at all times
• You have a result-driven personality with self-confidence and the ability to act decisively (collaborative and design thinking approach required)
• You are customer-oriented, with a tenacious, persuasive and proactive attitude
• You are computer literate and highly competent in use of MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint (additional software as Photoshop and Autocad a plus)
• You speak fluent English (French is a plus)
• You possess a valid driver’s license

Creative Director

Singapore / Full time position

We’re seeking a Creative Director who will lead the ideation and creative design of experiential events, including campaigning brand elements for live events and activations. If you constantly have your fingers in rhythm with new experiential and design innovations, if you have big fresh ideas that will help shape the creative direction of the events and experiences, we want you! The ideal candidate excels at understanding client needs and translating key objectives into innovative concepts, content strategies and designs that engage clients and their stakeholders.

The Creative Director will work closely with our business development and production teams to deliver creative solutions that bring the experiences and brands to life. He/She will be an integral part of a collaborative team, including freelancers and partners, that will influence the thematic direction, overarching visual look and feel, and critical creative programmatic elements of our events experience and brand activations.

This person will oversee high-value brand pitches and is therefore responsible for managing the full creative process – from conceptualization, to pitch, and through execution. This Creative Director thrives on being client-facing with C-suite executives and has storytelling skills to effectively communicate the team’s work in a pitch presentation. Strong communication skills with both internal and external parties are key.

What you’ll do

• Hands-on creative direction for experiential, multimedia, and traditional creative in the live event space
• Present and clearly articulate to clients and stakeholders on the vision & strategy behind ideas and campaigns through innovative and targeted design
• Overseeing the team members and making sure the output meets the design requirements and client’s branding guidelines
• Guide, motivate and mentor to ensure your team members (even freelancers or outsourced) perform at their peak and grow professionally. Lead and inspire teams to continually raise the creative bar and stay curious
• Create ideas that can become scalable executions (and revenue streams) in the future. Be willing and able to adapt to the business as it evolves over time

The profile we’re looking for

• You have a 3-5 years experience in the live event industry
• You possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Art & Design, Advertising / Media or related disciplines
• You demonstrate fluency in current graphic design practices; such as Adobe Photoshop; Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
• You have the ability to create superior, original designs and exhibit strong design style; including creative design solutions within the constraints of the internet and print media
• You have a solid understanding of client deliverables and the ability to take responsibility for them as well as an understanding of and experience in corporate branding; layout; colour theory and typography in both print and digital media
• You have demonstrated successful design and integration, and the delivery of projects on time
• You can manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities in an effective manner, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
